This application offers an alternative time format, which is calculated in real time, based on the position of the sun. This time format sets noon (12:00) equal to solar noon (the point in time when the sun reaches its "highest" position). Therefore the offset varies from one location to another, and slightly changes every day.
This is entirely useless, because as the displayed time varies from one location to another, you will not be able to rely on any appointed timestamps. Yet it might be interesting to some people, and it gives you a new perception of time.
It also comes with visual information on sunrises, sunsets, twilights, etc.
